Debbie and I finally had our birthday cake at work today. It was both our birthdays last month. The cake was certainly worth the wait. Debbie ordered it from her neighbour – a pastry chef. His company is Macarons Et Madeleines on Lorne Street. The delectable cake was a combination of chocolate, mocha mouse, raspberry jelly, chocolate covered coffee beans, little chocolate covered crispy things, and gold leaf. It was the best birthday cake ever!!! Yummy!!!!
